Please help, we have had the car in the shop on and off now for the past 2 months. The car periodically will not start, completely dead. The fuel pump has been replaced, battery is charged. They have checked everything. We even had a new key made for the ignition. Very frustrating, afraid to drive the car in fear of it not starting. Any suggestion?

When this happens, does the starter work or is everything dead? Is the security light staying on or flashing?

Let me know.

Thanks for responding back, the issue has been resolved. The starter does work. They ended up changing the
crank shaft? Haven't had any issues since.

Did they replace the crank shaft or the crank sensor? Regardless, I'm glad it's fixed.

Take care and let us know if you have questions in the future.
