I thought it would be a simple evening task, but no hehe. Want to change low beam bulbs in headlights of my car, but it is nearly impossible to either get access to them from back.
on driver side bulb is blocked by air intake tube and on passenger side there is a battery.

the other approach would be to remove headlight assembly, but there are only 2 strange screws or bolts on top holding lamp to bracket (which is mounted to frame and fender). Those strange screws (i think) on top have flat plastic large discs/rings with notches on edges. Tried to turn them but no way to do this with fingers. I can't see any tools fitting it either.

any help please?

I think you are refering to a torx. Is it somewhat star shaped?

As far as the bulbs, you need to get them under the hood. You will most likely need to move the battery out of the way to access them.

Also, the screws you mentioned are most likely there to adjust the headlight beam.

No no. Those 2 thumb screws on top of each headlamp assembly are the ones holding it to bracket. I had to remove them to be able to pull assembly out and gain access to back of it.

Torx screws indeed are there too, but they are for headlights adjustment and that was not what I was referring to.

Anyways, job completed. Had problems because one of thumb screws was stuck with stripped thread, wasn't able to remove that headlight fully, but was able to tilt it enough to change low beam bulbs.

Thanks anyways.
