1987 Buick lasabre

V6 auto trans 112000 miles

this car just quits while driving, I stop turn switch off sit a minute then it starts up til it happen agin it does this 2-3 times a day. I feel it not fuel its electrical please tell me the problem and I will make more then a small donation.

I've had a similar problem with my 1987 lesabre

I cant tell exactly where your problem is, but if it seems hesitant when you gas or seems rough on idle.
I'd check the MAF Sensor (Mass Airflow Sensor); the plastic module connecting between throttle body and airfilter box. They cost around $80 at some autoparts stores and you can bring the old one back to them for around $10
