I purchased a replacement window regulator for my 98 Buick Century (rear passenger). After I installed, the window does not completely close as it leaves a 1/2 inch gap. Is there an adjustment that can be made or is it bad regulator? It does not seem that the screws slots are adjustable either.

You may picked up the wrong regulator
Check with the part store that sold you the part.
I don’t know of any adjustment on the regulator to take the gap of ½ in
Good luck
