Our 2002 Buick Century with 40,000 miles has an intermittent start problem. When turing the key, it is completely dead. Lights are bright, radio will work, seats move, etc. Yet there is absolutely no cranking whatsoever. The ignition switch has been replaced and two weeks later, no crank, no start again. Sometimes, it will start after an hour, sometimes 3 hours and sometimes it takes overnight. However, twice we have had it towed to the dealer because it would not start after 2 days. First time, the ignition switch was replaced. Yesterday, as soon as it was taken off of the tow truck, it started right up.
When we bought the car used, we were give 3 pass-keys which we thought kind of strange. Now, it's obvious that this was a problem for someone else also. The dealer is at a loss. Help
