I really dont know. Going on what you have said, it may or may not be the issue. We are guessing here from info provided. Before you spend hundreds of dollars on a cat. You should have someone verify our findings.

Dies when traveling 50mph and also when idling and I put car in neutral. Will start back and run fine for 2 or 3 hrs. Then die again. I have a delivery route so alot of stop and go. Mechanic checked out (fuel pressure ect) and drove it but car ran fine. Had this same problem 2 weeks ago died twice then ran fine and I assumed it was bad gas since it ran 2 weeks with no problem. This week it started acting up again. I just replaced both wheel bearings and a sensor so I would like this resolved. Hopefully you have a idea whats wrong.

Check the fuel pressure. It may be a pump failing

I have a buick centery wagon that will run, but every time I come to a stop the car will cut off. I would like to know what is causing the problem. I have replace the crank sensor, I replace the cam shaft sensor. I had the electronic module check and it was good. I also replace the core packs. Tell me whats next, the computer.
