I have a 2000 528 ti (station wagon) w/ 110,000 mi. Lately, when it rains, the post between windshield and passange door gets wet. If rain is heavy it also leaks on passanger feet.

I understand there is a drain hose that runs thru the post and sometimes clogs. If so, how do you get at the drain hose and what is the best way to unclog.

When there is a water leak to the carpet, I usually inspect the vapor barriers first, if there has ever been a window regulator replacement. The drain does run through the "A" pillar and the "D" pillar. You can remove the "A" pillar finisher to see the drain tube, you might need to pull the headliner down a little bit to see if the tube is OK.
