First of all you should have the car scanned to help pin point the problem, it will probably tell you that your Mass Air Flow Sensor is out of range. A couple of things can cause this. 1. You have a tear in your air intake boot, inspect to replace as needed 2. The MAF sensor itself is operating out of range and needs to be replaced.
