1995 BMW 525 slow starting

My 15 yo BMW is slow to start puts out a little black smoke when starting. After starting it runs fine. And if I start it after it has been running a while it ussually starts up normal. Any suggestions I am thinking a fuel problem.

Perhaps you are correct, the injectors might be leaking down or the fuel pump is not holding pressure, test pressure overnight, it should hold at 3 bar. Let me know how it goes.
