OBD II code is P0128
P0128 Range/Performance Problem In Thermostat
P0128 ECT Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature

What is the next step?
Should I replace the thermostat?
Is there an ECT sensor?
NAPA is calling for a Thermostat at 104.00 or a thermostat and water assembly for 49.00

Is this something that a home garage mechanic can replace? I have replaced many thermostats before.

Thank You in Advance.

Look for the part at Realoem.com, I would replace the T-stat. The answer is yes you can do it, it is not difficult, the fan will need to come out and it is a left hand thread on the water pump, you can do it, if you get stuck, I will be back around 5 pm pacific time today.

I would rate this as non-critical and if you wait there should be no collateral damage, if it were mine, I'd do it when it was convenient.
