Trying to remove the alternator. I have mounting bolts off. Alternator won't come loose. It will pivot back and forth about 2 or 3 inches bkut that is all.

There are two bolts that hold the alternator in, once removed, there is only the wiring attachments. What is holding it there is just the bolt going through the lower hole intercepts a trapped sleeve that has the internal threads in it, and the sleeve is holding it, put the lower bolt back in, (not all the way in, just a few turns in) thread it into the sleeve, get your hammer and give it a solid couple of taps, remove the bolt, and out it comes, am I being clear about this?
