Is the 1993 325 engine the same as the 1994 model. I have a 1993 and have the chance to buy a 1994 engine and manual transmission as a complete unit, want to know if it is a bolt-on swap.

The motors will interchange, there is little if any difference in those two, perhaps some cosmetic stuff, but otherwise the same. A site I like to use for compatibility questions is Realoem. Com Try it, you'll like it.
