The spark from directly off the coil is too low. Even with brand new coil.

If the coil can't throw a good spark, and you have replaced the coil. The next thing I need is the last 7 characters of the vehicle identification number to know what car we are dealing with. Thank you.

The ignition is controlled by the DME, it may require replacement. DME is the acronym BMW uses for the engine control module.
