I previously bought this car from a friend and I know it had a stereo system put in with wiring being messed with behind the radio. The emergency flashers still work and function fine, the turn signals do not work at all. That is all of the information I have on it. Any help at would be greatly appreciated, in need of my turn signals. Thanks!

Hi,

Start at the fuse box on the left side of the dash (at the end). There is a fuse just for the signals which may be bad.

Also, I attached the wiring schematic for the entire exterior lighting system. If you look at pic 1, I highlighted the fuse which sends power to the signal flasher, to the switch, and then is distributed to the lights. If the fuse is good, check for power at the purple wire going to the flasher unit.

When you check the fuse, confirm that it is good and there is power to and from it. Here is a link that explains how it's done.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions. Also, if you look at pic 3, it shows the fuse location in the box.

Take care,

Joe
