Blend door actuator locations? Not working correctly?

The blend air door is responsible for providing heat or AC. If you are getting heat, chances are the blend air door is not the problem. Do me a favor. I believe the vent doors are actuated with engine vacuum. Check under the dash where the unit is located (the controls) and see if there is engine vacuum to the unit. The engine will need to be running to check for vacuum. Let me know what you find.

By the way, the actuator is under the dash, passenger side behind the glove box. See if this helps.

I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan that's doing the same thing a mechanic is saying it's the temp control itself is that possible?

What is it actually doing, the clicking in the first post or not selecting or which issue please? The common failures are the actuators but it is possible that it's the control head, depends on what it is doing.
