Hello, I really need help today. I was driving home, and my car started to slow down and all the lights on the dashboard popped up. So, I pulled over as much as I could. Then I tried to restart the car, but it wouldn’t start. So, I had someone else try to give me a jump, however when we tried to do the jump it wasn’t working then smoke started coming from the engine. Please help, what should I do?

Hi,

When you tried to jump start it, did the starter engage and turn the engine? Could you tell approximately where the smoke was coming from and was there an electrical smell to it?

One important question. Does this vehicle have a 2.4L engine? Was there any noise from the engine prior to this issue and is the motor oil full and clean?

Let me know.
