Is it normal for the battery gauge to fluctuate slightly when driving? I've noticed it goes to 12v when you turn accessories on, then when you start the engine and drive it will fluctuate between 14 and 15 (roughly). I just had my electrical system checked and they said it was good, but I just noticed this today.

It should stay fairly steady, it may drop as you use things like heater and high beam or heater blower, but basically it should stay steady. You may have a voltage regulator starting to fail. I would check the drive belt, don't ignore this as it will let you down when you really need it.

Thanks. It remains steady for the most part, and changes only slightly sometimes during driving or when I use something in the car. I passed the electrical test and they said everything looked good. This may be something I just now started noticing and has always been this way. I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the help!
