battery drain?

Recharge battery to full charge but it gets drained overnight / just sitting there not running.

This could be that the battery is bad and cannot hold a charge, can I ask how old the battery is? If the battery is new, I would make sure nothing is plugged into the 12 volts accessory sockets. I have also seen CD's get stuck in the player which will run the battery down. Here is a guide for you to go over which shows more possibilities that are easy to check:

I would also, pull out the A/C compressor clutch relay which if it stick on will drain the battery pretty quickly. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
