Hello,

I noticed a wet spot on the driveway after my wife had driven approximately three hundred miles.

It is coming from the back of the car, when I looked under the car I noticed dripping from the middle outside of the muffler. Car has never gone past the middle of the temperature gauge. Just wondered what could be causing this.

Thank you,
JD

With the temperature in the exhaust after an extended drive I would be thinking it is not coolant, but to be sure you can get a head check done. This is a quick and simple test for exhaust gasses in the cooling system which if positive will be a head problem. Was the A/C on? It may be water from the A/C condenser drain running back, get the head check done for peace of mind first. Most mechanics can do this while you wait, it takes about five minutes to run the test.
