Today I was cleaning it out and noticed the passenger is warm, driver is cold, not super cold but cold.
I attached my gauges while the car was running, and they read 170 on high and 350 on low, which does not make sense. Then I did another set and they read 170 on high and 38 on low side. No matter what I did to try to add freon it would not go above 40 and I don't think it is even taking it. I tried three different gauges. I have a feeling it may be over filled. I don't know what to do from here.
Compressor runs fine, does not cycle on and off.
I found some receipts showing some work done:
10/13/ 2021: A/C not cooling properly. They found a leak and compressor bad, replaced compressor and lines. Also replaced accumulator/dryer.
March 10, 2022: Prior issue, heat blowing cold and cold blowing heat. The lower radiator hose was not as hot as it should be. They found thermostat failure. They replaced it and tested, and all was good.
March 21, 2022: Lower radiator hose still not as hot as it should. Passed head/block test. Coolant was flushed and water pump replaced.
All the work was done by Carmax under warranty.
I went and started the car again now and the passenger was a bit cold, and driver was very good and still is then passenger went to hot. I think these codes were from before, before I replaced the battery.
After I deleted the codes, now the passenger is not as hot as it was. Bit still. Anytime you turn the car off then on the passenger cools very little then changes to hot.
