I am trying to replace the alternator in my car and I've got it most of the way disconnected. The only problem I'm having is the bottom bolt is catching on the axle and I can't remove it fully to get the alternator out. I guess my question is how do I remove that bolt? I've tried pulling it, sticking a screwdriver in there and try to push it out with a hammer through the wheel well, I even crawled under the car to see if I could pull it out from down there.

Hi,

Here is a video of someone doing it on a 2005. Looks like it is the same though.

Let me know if this doesn't help and we can see if we can find something else. Thanks
