Possible new alternator going bad

We replaced our alternator about a month ago but now when driving, all the lights on the dashboard will blink and beep, headlights will dim and flicker, vents will cut on sporadically even when turned off and it seems like battery tries to die until you hit the accelerator. Was the new alternator maybe put in wrong? Could this be something else?

Sometimes you just get stuck with a bad "new" unit.

You could have other problems.

I suggest taking your vehicle to a popular auto parts store (Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, others), they can test the unit on the vehicle.

With fresh eyes and hands on, they may be able to find connection problems or wiring issues.
