Starts normally and runs fine untill I turn off ignition. Then it won't restart for about an hour. All electrical operates normally, radio. Lights. Etc. When key is at start posistion engine will not crank. It seems that something needs to cool down. Then it will restart and operate normally untill we turn it off.

The car has 135,000 miles. Automatic trans and A/C. It has ever needed major repairs. It's been a great car.

The next time it wont start, put a test light on the "crank" wire at the starter(smaller wire). Have someone crank the engine, if the light turns on, then the starter is probably bad. If not then test the neautral safety switch, if ok then go to the ignition switch. Oh ya, does it have an aftermarket alarm? If it does I would by-pass the crank interrupt
