Happen all the time warm or cold engine?

Had any work done to the vehicle recently?

Just some quickies to look at. Check the coolant level of the vehicle. When engine warm, crack open slowly a bleeder to let out air in the cooling system. Check out engine for a vacuum line leaking or any vacuum leak.

Let us know.

In your exam of the coolant did you find a leak? A lower level of coolant will leave air in places where sensors are trying to determine the temp of the engine. They falsely read the temp and make improper adjustments of fuel and air. Make sense?

Yes- There is at least one crack I was able to see( close to the top of radiator). Coolant would get hot and start to come out of the crack causing it to smoke. Coolant was leaking so it probably got low and started the irregular idle.

I'm replacing the Radiator and hopefulll this will cure the irregular idle.

I would be that ALL of the problems will disappear. The radiator is so simple yet so vital. You are constantly running on low coolant right now. Get it replaced and you will be happy.
