After the car warms up and you give it gas, it has a loss of power. When I try to accelerate, there is nothing until I let off the gas pedal. Checked the catalytic converter for plug and changed fuel filter. Didn't help.

Always post what type motor you have, it does make it easier to help. It could be lots of things. A bad engine control system or ECS. Or a vacume leak, weak fuel pump. Even low alternator output. If it's blowing out black smoke or you smell gas it could be a clogged air filter or cracked fuel line. I hope this helped.
