Alarm system and car won't start

The security light is flashing because it doesn't recognize your key. This could be due to an issue with the key itself or with other components in the system. About the only thing you could try yourself is using another key if you have one. Beyond that it is going to require some expensive, professional equipment to be able to diagnose and repair the system so you will likely have to go to either the dealer or an auto electric shop.
