1996 Acura TL engine overheat

I have a problem with my 1996 acura TL 3.2 this morning when I start the car the temperature gauge was up to "H" but sometimes is going to normal and go back to "H". I want to know what' wrong thanks !

Could be a nomber of things from sticking thermostat to water pump. For a detailed explanation go to chevy lumina and read the artical of a 96 lumina overheating, just posted today

Hi ndiabdoul,

I would suggest checking the radiator coolant level first. If the gauges movement is immediately after starting from cold, then it most probably is electrical, either a faulty sending unit, wire connections or a faulty gauge.
