No spark

Engine turns over but it won't start. Grounded a plug wire while cranking. No spark.

Hello,

You can have no spark due to an issue with the distributor. It could be a bad cap and/or rotor. It can also be a faulty distributor. Another possibility is a bad intuition coil.
