1999 Acura

I have a 1999 Acura 3.0 CL.It has 143,000 Kilometers on it.The automatic transmission has started giving me trouble in that it has stopped shifting smoothly.It shifts hard especially when accelerating.I know there was a problem with these trannies and am just wondering if there is something I can do to troubleshoot the problem or am I looking at an O/H

When was the last time it seen a transmission service such as fluid/filter?

Might want to test the coolant temperature /throttle position and vehicle speed sensors the computer uses these sensor's input signals to command the tranny to shift/down/lock thru solenoids in the tranny.

To identify problems internally it has to be pressure tested.
