Acceleration jumpy when I first start the car.

Does anyone know what the cause of this problem could be? When I start my car the slightest touch on the accelerator and my car seems to jolt forward really fast as if it wants to drive itself almost! The problem is gone within about 30 seconds so I don't know what it could be? Could the recent hot weather be a cause? It's only been doing this since the weather got warmer.

help would be much appreciated!

Sounds like the auto choke cable is not moving freely when u start car up keep throttle pressed to floor make sure out of gear first, then go up and down on throttle pedal a few times.
