Can you tell me the amount needed to charge the system in grams and pounds please (Min and Max capacity). Also do I need to add oil if I just evacuate the system and recharge it without replacing any parts?

That system holds 490g with a tolerance of +- 30g or 17.3 oz with a 1 oz tolerance.
If you use a machine, it will collect any oil and measure it for you. If not, then it depends on the method used. The oil is suspended in the refrigerant so the faster it is removed the more oil you lose. As a preparatory step you can run the engine at about 1000rpm for 5-6 minutes with the AC running, that will help distribute the oil through the system, then recover the charge as soon as possible after you shut the engine off.
If you are replacing another part and recovering the charge to get a line out of the way you will still need to pull a full vacuum on the system, simply because it was opened.

The sticker on the hood says min 0.42 kg aka 420 g and max 0.48 kg aka 480 g. So its 450g +- 30g. I have another Corolla, a 2004 and it says the same as you mentioned.

The numbers I gave are what the service info shows. They may have a mid-year change or used a different component. Hard to say. I generally will follow the sticker unless it doesn't perform at those numbers, then I opt to go by pressures and vent temperatures.

I looked on Rock Auto for parts and some parts like the condenser and the evaporator of a 2007 Corolla will not fit the 2004 Corolla so I guess I will go what the sticker says.

Unfortunately, they make changes that are not in the service info.
