How are you jumping it? Are you sending power directly to it?
As far as the issue, this vehicle has what is called a totally integrated power module (TIPM).
These modules have a history of failing. There are several pins that are squeezed into each connector at the TIPM, as a result, they are very small.
What happens is they are known to corrode and break. So here is what I need you to do. Disconnect the connector at the compressor. There should be a light blue wire with a yellow tracer. Have a helper turn the AC on and check to see if there is power at that wire. If there is, make sure the black wire has continuity to ground.
If there is no power, we need to go to the TIPM, remove it from its mount, and disconnect connector 1 (C1) which will be black in color. Locate pin 16 and inspect it for damage, corrosion, make sure the pin isn't pushed in, and so on. If it is in good condition, check to see if it has 12v when the AC is turned on.
