A/C electrical not working

For some reason my A/C is no working when connected. I checked the A/C itself by connecting it to an external power source and it works perfectly fine but when connecting it through the motor in the car it does not work. Please help.

Good morning.

Have you checked to see if you have enough Freon for the system to come on line? Low Freon will not allow the low pressure switch to activate the compressor.
