The engine before was all hooked up with the same 5 wires. The new engine is the exact same engine as the old engine.

Okay, but based on the diagram, you are missing wires.
Does the engine turn by hand?
Correct me if I am wrong but is the issue it will not crank? Been a while.

Okay, again, does it turn by hand? The motor that is.
You may have a bad starter.

You can put a socket and breaker bar on the alternator. It is a 15/16 nut. Try turning the motor with the breaker bar.
I also asked you to test the battery with a voltmeter. Did you do that test?

The motor is turning by hand. I do not have a voltmeter test done. I can shift car into neutral and it almost starts. I have reset the car to now start in park but still wont start. The starter makes a different clicking noise now. I have consulted with a couple of mechanics. If I cant figure it out soon, the car is going in the shop to be fixed.

You need a voltmeter to check the battery voltage. I think you have a bad battery.
