A six is more suited for a CJ,
What does it do exactly when you attempt to apply accelerator? (Die, continue to run?)
Last time it had a fuel filter?
If the engine won't run, how are you getting it to move an inch?
I assume it was running fine when you dropped it off?
With this new information, I'm torn between a drive train issue and an engine issue.
We're going to pursue the engine for the moment.
Check your vacuum lines, one may be loose, cracked, completely off. At the same time, insure your carburetor is snugged down to the intake manifold.
Insure the pedal linkage moves the carburetor shaft when it is depressed at the pedal. (Something could have been bumped loose).
I'm grasping for information, bear with me, I'm not trying to get you all flustered.
