This most likely will work but the important think to measure is not piston size but bore diameter. So we need to measure the diameter at the top of the bore and then we need a head gasket that is as close to this as possible but not smaller. Clearly you don't want the gasket hanging into the cylinder. So if you bore diameter is in between the the piston diameter and the head gasket opening diameter then you are good to go.
