The car will start and run fine but as soon as you give it gas it chokes itself out and dies. Gas pedal is nonresponsive. What is wrong with it?

I had it hooked up to the computer at dealership. They said there was a break in the engine wire harness going to the air mass flow sensor.

Replaced air mass flow sensor and tested with ohm meter everything is testing accurate. Took the gas pedal sensor out and cleaned it now the car will rev up to 2000 rpms when gas pedal is pushed but will not drive down road. No accelerlation at all any suggestions

When it doesn't start, you need to check for spark to the plugs and fuel pressure. One will be weak or not work at all. Once you identify that, you will know what circuit to focus on.

I was driving yesterday and the gas light was off (but I knew I was a little bit low on gas.I just thought it would get me home). Then, the gas light turned on and right when I was turning onto my street the car died. All the lights came on. I tried to turn it on and it would start but I wouldn't go.I waited for a few minutes and it turned on and seemed to be working fine. I put gas and drove it again later on in the day and it did the same (I was driving and it just stopped) all the lights work and it would try to start but it couldn't. Waited for a few minutes and I could drive it again for 6 miles and then it stopped. Now, the service light in on. But I am able to turn it on and it runs. Any suggestions?

In tank fuel pumps are cooled and lubricated by the fuel in the tank. When you run a car out of gas, it pumps a lot of air through the pump which overheats it and causes some severe wear and many times, failure when they cool off.
You will need to use a fuel pressure gauge to verify this

Most likely this is a fuel pressure issue but here are some guides that cover this issue:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-stalls

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/stall-at-idle

Next we need to check the fuel pressure and go from there. I suspect this is the issue so we need to check it when this happens.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Once we know what this is we can go from there but if it is a pump issue, here is how to replace it:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-an-electric-fuel-pump

Thanks
