I have the car listed above XLE model, USA made. I need to get the wiring diagram for the left side power mirror non-heated. The car I got was damaged and the wiring harness was gone on the driver side. There is some loose colored wires in there and I tried hooking up the mirror and it seems like I got it to move in one direction but one I did trial and error I kept blowing fuses. I would appreciate anyone who could help with a wiring diagram so I could do it properly. Thank you in advance.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

I attached a picture of the wiring schematic for you to review. There isn't a separate one for non heated. I had to break it into two pictures so you could read them, but I overlapped them so you can tell where they join.

Let me know if it helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

I replaced the side left side mirror but the harness doesn't match. I can splice it, but the old mirror had black white and red wires while the new one has black yellow and green. Would you know what goes where?. Thanks bill

How many wires do you have?

The wiring schematics for the mirror are below along with the guide to help you test the connections.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find.

Trying to connect a power side mirror, not heated, for a 2000 Toyota Camry. The new replacement mirror is made for USA models and has black, green & yellow wires.
Original mirror has black, red and white color wires and Camry was made in Japan. Which color of wires match to each other? I am replacing both left and right side mirrors. The new mirrors are made for a USA model Camry and has a different style connector than the wire connection coming from the Japan model Camry.

Hello,

There are actually five versions of wire colors, but they all refer to the date of production. You didn't specify left or right mirror, but the colors are not what you listed. My diagram shows a light green / red as the common to both motors in both mirrors. The brown / white is the left / right for the left mirror. The brown / yellow is the up / down for the left mirror.

The brown / red is the left / right for the right mirror, and the light green / black is the up / down.

With non-standard wire colors, you have to go by trial and error. You can't hurt anything by connecting the wires incorrectly. If the common is connected correctly and the other two are mixed up, the mirror will just move in the wrong direction. If you mix up the common wire, the mirror will move in two directions at the same time, but very slowly.

I found these wiring diagrams for you to get the problem fixed (below) Please let us know what happens.

Someone asked regarding the side left side mirror wiring harness in Toyota Camry, Japan and USA models: the old mirror had black, white and red wires while the new one has black, yellow and green. Would you know what goes where?
I tried on my 2001 Camry and the following combination works:
Black-black; white to yellow and red to green.

Hi,

Because the model year is different, that is likely going to change wiring colors from what we listed.

Here is what I need you to do. I need you to start a new thread. We try to keep the threads specific to one topic, model, year, and so on. That way, it becomes more helpful to others.

I hope you understand. As far as the new post, here is the link to start a new one. Simply copy and paste your question to a new post and someone will be happy to help.

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/new

Again, I hope you understand. Also, if it is working properly, chances are you got it correct.

Take care,

Joe
