Hello,

This sounds like either you have a security light flashing or a start motor that has gone out. Here is a guide that will help you reset the security if the light is lashing when you crank it over. Diagrams below to change the starter out and location

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system

And this guide will help you see if it is the starter or not by testing the small wire at the starter for power when cranked over.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

and if the starter is bad this guide will help you see what you are in for when changing the starter out.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-a-starter-motor

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

We're having some weird problems with my car. Over the last few weeks there have been several times where I have to try several times to start the engine. I'll turn the key and the radio and dash lights will come on, but the engine will not start. It's doesn't click or even try to turn over - just complete silence. Usually I'll have to try about 3 times and then it will start right up. I've had it at the Chrysler dealership a couple times and they can't find anything wrong with it. They did find a service bulletin with a similar problem, but the service bulletin also said the keyless entry wouldn't work when the card wouldn't start. My keyless entry worked when the car wouldn't start, so that ruled out that service bulletin. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what might be going on. Oh, and I also switched to my spare key because the dealership said the electrionic chip in my key might be going out, but that didn't work either.

I need you to try something. When this happens, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for voltage to the smaller wire on the starter. You should be getting 12+ volts. This guide will help show you how.

Let me know what you find.

My car has codes for misfiring on all cylinders, crank sensor, and fuel sensor. I replaced spark plugs, iginition coils, crank sensor, and air filter. But it still sometimes get stuck trying to crank and after about two trys it does but starts rough then idles out. It runs fine while driving it but if just sitting still it feels like a vibration. My gas meter is bottoming out but kicks back in. Can someone help me?

Have a pro scan for codes and freeze frame as these misfires are extremely har d to diagnose. It can be any sensor causing the problem as well as injectors or basic engine problem.S
