2009 Journey won't start intermittently, bat. Checks out good.
as does the charging system. Sometimes after multiple tries
it will engage starters and a couple times it didn't I put the ignition key in start position and moved the shift lever, then
vehicle started. Acts like neutral switch, but the inter-mitten
thing confuses me. I figure switch works or don't. What do you
think my problem is? 75000 miles, been running great, just
afried of speeding huge dollars on unnecessary parts.

It is not true that electrical switches eitgher work or they don't. They and many other electrical parts, fails internitantly. That is what makes electrical diagnosis so hard is that somethimes a switch will work for a week and then not work one time and then work another week until it fails completely.
The other problem with modern vehicles is that there are so many circuit board level components it makes testing for bad parts very tough.
If you have not already take your car and have the trouble codes pulled. Any Advanace Auto or Auto Zone will do this for free.
