I replaced the transmission 2 times now and finally got a good one from an Acura tl. But back when I did the first replacement, the red park light in the gauge cluster flickered then went away and never came back since and because of that it wouldn't start or anything. So, I had to run a wire from the starter to the battery and attach a button so I could still start the car. I've changed the harness, safety neutral switch 4 times now, the interior driver's side fuse box, and I even tried another ecu and none of that worked. Now the car won't shift past second gear and says two solenoids are stuck open even though I changed them all. I even had to add a ground wire directly to the O2 sensor wires because they weren't reading at all. I don't know what to do at this point, it seems like it might be dead for good.

The car listed above is an EX-L model.

This sounds like the main battery ground to the transmission/engine and then to the chassis is no good. I would check those first which are commonly left off after major repairs. Here is the wiring for the ground I was talking about. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for responding, I went over all the grounds from left to right and I even installed a new negative terminal with an extra ground that bolts to the transmission itself. The whole harness has ground in it when I tested it after installing another one. I'm currently changing the engine compartment fuse box with the harness into the interior as the fuse box looks a little burnt and suspicious.

I have seen the gauge control module go out and cause problems like this. Here is how to swap it out and send it in for testing. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
