When I turn the steering wheel to either side a couple turns at low speed while parking I hear and very slightly feel a bump in the front suspension. When on the highway at high speed nothing happens and everething is fine. I checked the suspension components, tie rods, ball joints, steering, rack and pinion and everything is solid. I have mechnical background but I am lost with this one.

thank you

Reach over a front tire and hold your fingertips lightly on the top of the coil spring, then have a helper turn the steering wheel. If the upper strut mount is binding, you'll feel the spring wind up, then pop loose and turn.
