My 2006 Ford Expedition stalled on me while driving on the expressway and will not start back up. We replaced the fuel pump, but, it seems that the pump is not getting any power. What should we be checking to see why the it is not getting power?

Hello,

There are a couple posssibilities.

First is the Inertia Fuel Shut Off Switch - Located on driver side rear cargo area behind trim.

Second is the Fuel Pump Drive Module - Located on drivers side rear chassis just behind the Air Spring on frame.

Checked those, now trying to find out where the fuel pump relays are. Any ideas?

Thanks,

The fuel pump relay is integral to the Central Junction Box ( CJB ) and is not serviceable Applies to, but not limited to the following models:

Expedition / Navigator -- 2003 - 2006

Excursion -- 2002 - 2005

F-Super Duty 250-550 -- 2002 - 2007

You will need to replace the CJB to fix relay. Try tapping on the box see if you get 12 volts.
