Something dramatic hapened and I think I should share it with you to know your professional response.I opened the ignition only without starting it and pressed down the accelerator, I ask somone to view the throttle plate after removing the air filter hose and the plate responded as I pressed down, it opened widely, though I did not start it. Again, when I wanted to start, I found out that there is no fuel because I removed the fuel filter by the hose line and fuel is not coming out. Even when there is fuel it doesnt flow well. Please can u give me your opinion of what is causing this. Thanks

Either the fuel pump is not being commanded to operate, there is a fault in the wiring circuits or the fuel pump is faulty. Have them checked first.

The TPS is working correctly as per symptoms described.

Thanks a lot. What u simply mean is that low fuel pressure either from bad fuel pump or fuel pressure sensor can cause P2104 and P2112. So I should go ahead and drop the Tank to see the pump pressure. Is this what you really mean because even when I bought fuel and checked the fuel line it is just coming out slowly but with ignition on'it doesnt flow at all.

You should test the fuel pump operations before dropping the fuel tank. If the pump is working and pressure is not building up, you have a leak inside the fuel tank. If the fuel pump is not getting the correct power supply or ground circuit connections, it could work weakly.

Thanks a lot. Please how can I test the pump operations and can a tank leak inside without me seeint it dropping outside and again how can one test for ground circuit connections. Very importantly, have u agreed that the pump improper operation can affect the P2104 and p2112. Thanks

Fuel pump has 2 wires, one for power supply and the other for ground circuit.
To check its operation, test for battery voltage to it and if voltage is available, check the ground circuit connections.

P2104 and P2112 are for the accelerator position and is most likely not related to the fuel pump but they can cause the fuel pump not to operate.

Then if P2104 and P2112 can cause the fuel pump not to operate fine, it means if you repair the fuel pump problem, they can make it not to operate. So then what should I do if fuel pump is not related with P2104 and P2112. Thanks

You need to get the fuel pump running first and continue from there.

Leak inside tank can be from a bad connecting hose between pump and connection to fuel rail.

Thanks a lot. Although I have not yet check the fuel pump, but I just want to know why when I open ignition or turn the key to on'the throttle plate will open as I press down the pedal. Does it mean the Throttle body and or the electronic throttle system is working fine. According to d van manual anytime the Electronic Throttle control light(a spanner sign)comes up, it means the OBD-II has detected a fault and the engine has defaulted to a limp-home mode. The two issue now is 1, the throttle plate opening during ignition on and the spanner sign on the dash board that doesnt go off. Thanks

The throttle plate must open when accelerator pedal is depressed. That indicates it is working but it does not mean it is faultless as the signal sent from the ETC could be wrong.

Thanks. But it was not opening before even if I press the pedal. Again do you thing the engine might be lacking enough power for it to be able to raise. Thanks

The engine computer is registering a fault with the ETC so that would cause the lack of power.

Likewise the low fuel pressure could be the cause as well.

Long time my good friend. My problem still persist with the codes p2104, p2112 and po193 even after I bought a new fuel pump.I also see that it is a returnless fuel line. Again, each time we tried to use our hand to open the throttle plate, the engine tries to accelerate but goes off again maybe because of uncleaned air. To me but not too sure I think the problem lies between the throttle body, TPS and the fuel pressure regulator. Please give me your expert view as this problem has taken long now but I still believe we can still make it work. Again the idling is perfect, no fluctuation even with A/C on. Thanks for your time

P0193 is not a fault with the fuel pump and replacing it is not going to help.

You do not seem to be doing things the correct way and unless you go through everything accordingly, it is not going to work.

I have aleady outlined all the test in previous posts. Print those related to the existing codes and go through them to see of you have missed out anything. Check for damaged wires, especially those brushing against any metal parts etc.

Thanks a lot. But what about the problem of p2104 and p2112. Where can I find the FRP sensor so that I can replace it if need be. Again what about the throttle plate or I should not look that way first. Finally, what about the TPS.

For P2104 and P2112, refer to reply of Dec 22 and Mar 03.

FRP is near fuel rail. Refer to diagram.

Long time my brotrher. Concerning the 2006 E 150. There is a new codes after scaning again which comes sometimes P1200. Please what does it mean. Although others p2104 and po193 are still there. What else do you think I can do again because all wires to the PCM are good. Thanks
