are you saying engine does not increase rpm or car just does not move when you rev engine with clutch engaged?

all that i know about the problem is that it will not accelerate, they brought it to a shop and pulled 3 codes from it all which have to do with the car accelerating. it has basically been sitting for a year now so maybe that has something to do with it.
