Will not start

The truck died while driving and will not start. It turns over and is getting fuel to the injectors, it will start briefly using a shot of starting fluid than dies, I replaced the batteries, fuel filter, bypassed the tank, still will not start. I believe the fuel injector is fine, there is fuel and the glow plugs are getting power the thing is I don't believe I am getting "high" pressure. Under diagnostics the oil pressure switch failed we determined this by grounding the sensor directly which disables the "Check Trans" light according to the service manual under these conditions the sensor is bad so we replaced it (I hope this is right) the truck did not start! After testing many other areas and unplugging the ECM, TCM J212 and the engine harness connector another harness connector under the dash. After many test we heard the clicking from somewhere behind the cab on the engine that always happens when the truck starts, if we don't here a clicking the truck don't start!

Help please! We are stranded!

Hello,

I have seen the crankshaft angle sensor go out on these trucks making the engine stall out. When these sensors go bad they typically don't trigger the check engine light or leave a code. Here is a guide to show you what you are in for when changing he sensor out and a diagram below showing you the location.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/crankshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers

Truck towed in for would not start. We checked the fuel pressure - it is fine. We checked the cam sensor - Good. Checked fuel flow from tank to pump - Good. Found that not getting signal to injectors from harness to valve cover. We replaced the fuel filter and checked the coolant levels. We checked the fuel filter header - it was clean. We don't know what could be wrong with it.

Checked for trouble codes. None come up.
Compression fine. There is no voltage going to injectors.
We've tried everything we can think of. Can't get truck to start.

No voltage to injectores means you have a blown fuse or the EFI relay is faulty.

Engine started up and ran great for about 15 seconds
and stopped. Turns over but will not start again.

Need help desperately as this truck is my livelyhood.

I would start with a new fuel filter.

I assume it is a diesel?

Yes it is a diesel. It is running good but won't go over 30 miles per hour-it doesn't make sense because it is running good. Where would the fuel filter be located?

Lift the cab and it should be on the frame rail. Could be on either side by the fuel tank.

I have a 2003 Isuzu NPR box truck, the fuel pump went out on it I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. Before it starts and when I let off the key it seems to start up, but if I crank and crank it doen't start. Also when I bump the ignition it starts when I let off the key. It has 50 PSI fuel pressure when I energize the fuel pump. It is a 5.7 V8 Chevy motor vortec. Hope you can help.
Thank You.

First morning start up, Check Battery alarm comes back on, 30 secs later - shuts down engine, usually on 3rd restart I can pull out on the street with the alarm coming on then off occasionally but without engine shut down. Pre-start battery voltage 12.5 (cleaned terminals/cable connections, and main ground), replaced alternator, still have same issue
