I have a 2005 f 350 sd and the gauges have stopped working and seem to have something draining battery. It will stert if you jump it but stalls shortly after. If you leave it jumped to the other vehicle it will keep running but gauges still dont work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That's not an indication of a drain. That points to the charging system in your truck not working. Have your battery manually charged and then test the charging system in your truck after you get it running.

Thank you for your answer. I had it on charge all night and this am charger said it was fully charged. As soon as I started it, it went back to saying it was dead on the charger indicator. It ran fine but I didnt run it to long off of charger to see if it still stalled but my gut tells me it would have. Hopefully it is just the battery but the way my luck runs it will be more involved than that. Thanks again Mike
