I have a 2005 Cadillac CTS 3.6L V6 VVT. 2,000 miles before my schedule oil change, I am completely out of oil. There is no leaking anywhere in the car. I have heard that some caddy's take 8 quarts, is this one of those cars. Please help. Thanks.

This is a 6qt system w/filter. This vehicle seems to be an oil eater, I have had these in the shop that the engines were actually rattling, and setting codes, and come to find out they were low on oil and have no visible oil leaks. I dont have a definite answer why, Maybe valve seals, piston rings, pcv system.

With oil filter it takes 6 qts-no external leak could be burning in the cylinders-its going somewhere
