Engine wont start

I have a kia optima 2004 and when the motor is cold the car would start with no problem however when the motor gets warm or to the regular temperature the car would not start at all till it colds down, and I start having this problem since I took the car to a local mechanic to replace the clutch any ideas

This sounds like a coolant temperature sensor issue but to be sure lets go over this guide.
