Hi. I have a 2004 hyundai elantra. It has run 127K miles. I started my car after keeping it idle for one day in the outside cold winter. It took around 2-4 seconds before the engine started up. When it did, there was a small grinding noise and there was some amount of smoke coming from the muffler behind. After leaving it running for a while, I switched off the car, waited for a couple of minutes and then restarted the car. The second time, it started perfectly normal. There was no sound and there was no excessive smoke coming out as well. I am confused. Is this an indication that there might be some issues inside?
